🐈🪞 Book 2 of the Cat and Mirror Trilogy
A paranormal romcom with a 400-year-old matchmaker cat. Happy ending guaranteed.
👭 Her best friend has been kidnapped.
💼 The ransom is the man she loves.
🪞 The magic mirror she swore never to touch again drops her into a frozen London lake.
🐈 And her cat is shouting swimming tips from the pontoon.
Madeline Roux promised she would never touch the magic mirror again. Then her best friend was taken, and the ransom was Ciaran LeBlanc.
One trip through the mirror later, she drops out of thin air into a frozen lake, and Ciaran goes over the railing after her. On the pontoon, Cashmere, her 400-year-old Norwegian Forest Cat, shouts swimming tips. He once watched Lord Byron swim. He has opinions about knees.
Now a kidnapper is reading her messages, a limousine with nobody driving it is playing piano at them on the motorway, and the mirror has a very loose idea of "somewhere soft to land." Between a marsh full of marching Roman dead, a haunted castle where Ciaran booked two separate rooms, and a family estate that files Cashmere under "ornamental," Madeline has a friend to bring home and a question she can't stop asking.
Why does Ciaran never stay until morning?
